Buddhist Monk at Angkor Wat, Cambodia. Angkor Wat was built during the 12th century by Suryavarman II. Although Angkor Wat was initially dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu, it is now a buddhist temple. Angkor Wat is the most famous temple, and as such is top of most tourists 'must see' list and gets extremely packed with tourists for sunrise and sunset. Goes without saying, however, no trip to the Angkor Temples is complete without a sunrise at Angkor Wat.
